INTRODUCTION

 

GENERAL INFORMATION OF THE BUSINESS:

 

The name of the intended business shall be called JIL BAKERY HOME which will be situated at Lekki, Eti - Osa Local Government Area, Lagos State.

 

I came across the business through a friend of mine who was actively participating in the running of his Uncle's bakery.

 

Actually, my thinking was to invest on a trading business which shall served a useful purpose to the general public but my regular visit to my friend uncle's bakery initiated me to re-directed my plans and decided to invest in the bakery business.

CHAPTER TWO

 

DESCRIPTION OF THE BUSINESS

THE PRODUCT:

The product to be offering is sliced and non - sliced bread which is a fulfilling need to the society at large, also a way of surviving income for an entrepreneur and also a way of adding values to the face of my economy by providing employment opportunities for the unemployed citizen of my beloved country, Nigeria.

 

THE TARGET MARKET AND THE USE OF THE PRODUCT:

The product would be available to the entire people of the society for consumption which gives carbohydrate to the body and system of the consumers. It is not a seasonal product and it can be produce at any particular period of the year.

 

FACTOR THAT AFFECTS THE EXPANSION OF THE BUSINESS:

The renowned factors that affect business are the quality of the product and services given to customers as well as the firm product appeal to potential customers, which neither increase nor decrease the demand for the product.

 

The provision of handbill by the firm to the target market accounts for market penetration of the product and also enable the product withstand the competition.

 

Although, many of the firms are folding up due to poor management by the proprietor but with good maintenance, there is an opportunity for the future expansion of the firm.
